There is an arrangement of flowers on the small patio across from me,
A collection of red Tulips and silvery Lilies, well-tended and orderly,
I have never seen the owner, but their commitment was clear to see,
Inspired, I planted some flowers of my own, Fuchsias and Pansies,
So I was a touch shocked to see, over the course of small degrees,
Rows of Tulips and Lilies replaced by a single Dahlia, bright and sunny,
Thinking this curious, I asked a friend who was quick to find it funny,
Explaining, due to my peculiar tastes for seasonal fancies,
I participated in some rather unintentionally romantic floral poetry.
Such beautiful poetry itself!

A silly meaning, hidden in the depths of a language no one speaks in, but romantic and funny all the same.
Hmm, I find that amusing – would you still enjoy the story if you didn’t comprehend it, if only I told you it was funny and romantic?
Things to think about…

That’s a great way to put it and couldn’t agree more. Sometimes we only see what we want to see , but we need to hear more , so we can be more involved with feelings rather than words

That’s the goal for us, isn’t it?
