In the Hollow of the Mind

A young child once prayed aloud,
her troubles in a whisper,
And was answered by spirits,
very eager to help her.

Despite all of her lose friends,
and a loving family,
She often felt most anxious,
invisible and lonely.

So the spirits aided her,
in the only way they knew,
They made a home of her mind,
“Now we shan’t be lonely, too.”
