Along an Unburdened Sea

Even the faint touch a foreign breeze,
Brings forth memories,
Of your softly whispered voice with such ease ,
With such clarity,
That it feels like a terrible disease,
From which, I eagerly search for release.

To forget your place in my troubled heart,
I’ve traveled so far,
Though your presence gave me the gift of art,
You, my guiding star,
Have ruined me now that we are apart,
Unable to move forward nor restart,

For I wish you were here with me,
And curse another place with memories.
